Getting an EastWest Bank credit card or any credit card is just like applying for a job – you have to know your application status – whether you are accepted or rejected for the job or your credit card application is approved or denied to know your next move. Unless you want to have multiple credit cards, you don’t want to apply for another card simultaneously until you know the status of your first application. Do remember that most credit cards have an annual membership fee that you have to pay so be careful with this one.
Before doing an application status inquiry, please know that the processing time for your credit card application is two to three weeks from the receipt of complete application requirements. Submission of incomplete requirements will incur you delays for several days and processing of your application resumes only until you provided the missing requirement(s). With this information, it is suggested that you only start inquiring about your status after two weeks.
Performing an inquiry entails just a simple step – all you have to do is call EastWest Bank’s 24-Hour Customer Service Hotline at (02) 888-1700. There are other ways that you can contact them but calling their hotline is the fastest way to know your credit card application status.

The bank also has an active Twitter account (@eastwestbanker) where you can ask questions. They are available Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM except on holidays.
